I have been a NEWBO member since 1989 and have been in my roundtable for over 12 years. The support, friendship, and advice I have received has been invaluable for my business and for me, personally. Sometimes it take a little while to find the right roundtable mix but I encourage everyone to stick with it -- you and your business will benefit in ways you never expected." - Susan Ethier |

Begun in 2004, NEWBO’s New Member & Guest Roundtable Events have been a huge hit with attendees. These events include presentations and networking that allows new NEWBO members and guests to learn all they need to know about maximizing their membership in this great organization. Every attendee gets a chance to introduce herself and her business to the group. These events also include a presentation on the power of NEWBO Roundtables and the opportunity to join a new or existing Roundtable.
Who Should Attend These Events? You should attend this event if you answer “yes” to any of the following questions.
- Are you a new NEWBO member?
- Are you thinking about joining NEWBO?
- Are you a NEWBO member who is looking to join a Roundtable?
- Are you a NEWBO member whose Roundtable is looking for new members?
Roundtables are groups of six to ten NEWBO members who meet monthly at a different group member's office or home to discuss business issues in a confidential, supportive environment. Roundtables are one of the greatest benefits of your NEWBO membership.
To assist you in becoming part of a Roundtable, and receiving the most benefit for your participation, we have created these Roundtable/New Member Events. At the event we invite a long time NEWBO member to speak to us about her experience in NEWBO.
At this event you will hear from Susan Ethier, president of DesignQuest Visual Communications, and our Roundtable expert. Susan discusses how to make the most out of your Roundtable participation. And Susan should know. Her Roundtable has been meeting for more than a decade! Along with all the valuable information, these events offer great networking opportunities! We also assemble new Roundtables and add members to existing groups. It is much easier to do this when people are present, so please make every effort to attend if you have Roundtable needs.
Please contact your co-VP of membership if you have any questions.
