Board of Directors NEWBO relies on volunteers to lead the organization in many capacities. Our Board of Directors and Committees serve an important function in upholding NEWBO’s mission, maintaining a high value of membership, planning and organizing all events, managing the newsletter and Web site and ensuring a financially viable organization. Meet our current Board of Directors. President — Celia Couture, CC Consulting Celia is a nationally known speaker, author and management consultant. Her strategic management consulting firm helps businesses and universities uncover the hidden problems that keep them from achieving remarkable levels of success. In 2004, Celia published From The Classroom To The Boardroom – Ten Kid Tips For Managers. Celia has been a NEWBO member and volunteer since 2002. President-Elect — Cheryl Garrity, Attorney Cheryl formerly served on the board as the Vice President of Administration and Finance. She is a family law attorney with over 15 years of experience helping people resolve their differences on a variety of issues including divorce, prenuptials, guardianships, simple wills, and living together agreements. Treasurer — Alicia Amaral, CPA Alicia provides a full range of expert accounting and tax services including accounting system set-up, incorporation decisions, tax return preparation and planning and business valuations. VP of Finance & Administration — Kathaleen Cutone Co-VP Communications — Theresa Campbell, Engage Training Theresa is co-founder and owner of Engage Communications. Engage is a professional development firm committed to helping companies and local non-profits attract and retain key talent. Co-VP of Communications — Maureen O’Grady Condon, MS, Condon Communications Maureen is a successful journalist and business writer helping companies find the words that work and connects you with your clients. Maureen has been a NEWBO member and volunteer since 2002.
